About Our Team

Dr. Renée Rossi is certified with NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association) as an Ayurveda Practitioner and holds a Master’s degree in Ayurveda. Currently, she serves at Mt. Madonna Institute’s College of Ayurveda as a master teacher.

Though she no longer practices western medicine, she spent 30 years as an Otolaryngologist (Ears, Nose & Throat surgeon) and integrates her experience in both fields of medicine when working with clients to achieve optimal health.

She co-founded the Texas division of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, launching a women’s health initiative, and also has a special interest in the effects of trauma on human health. Dr. Rossi has made multiple trips as a medical volunteer with Cape Cares Honduras. Her interests include painting, gardening, and writing poetry. She has published a full length poetry collection, “Triage,” and two poetry chapbooks, “Still Life” and “Third Worlds.”

Galen Fisher L.Ac attended Swarthmore College majoring in psych anthropology  and later studied acupuncture at the Meiji Toyo Igakuin in Osaka, Japan and the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Oxford, England between 1974 and 1978.

He became  licensed in California in 1980 and then in Vermont in 1987.

Along the way he tended a farm and sugarbush for 50 years, raised two kids, built many structures while living in a yoga/ayurveda community  and developed a talent for tinkering. He was a professor for 20 years teaching 5 Element acupuncture at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA.
